Interview - DIVINE INFLUENCE

Divine Influence one of the finest Metalband all the way from Kathmandu-Nepal struggling since 2010 . They have already played on dozens of Gig here in Nepal . Though band faced different types of problems on there journey to be what they are now frontman of Band Aman Shahi  is getting able to manage everything inside Band . In this very short period of time Divine Influence have created there own unique status among Nepali metalheads. So , we had talked with Band’s Frontman Aman Shahi about there Ups and Down during there Journey . Here’s our short  Chit Chat with Him .

-          FIrstly will you please just introduce your band with latest line-up ?

  our lineup now is bjs and sahaj on guitars, animesh handling bass, rasu on the drums and me on vocals :)

-          What kind of Band is Divine Influence ?

 Divine Influence is a metal band. we are working on various new tastes and techniques to make things sound better and bigger, basically we play what we love, groove with some mixed elements of technical and core stuffs. 

-      Will you Please explain how DI  was formed ?

  DI was formed with a passion of five people who were willing to give up anything but music, we had a common vibe that was playing metal music it was back in september 2010, when we  played our first ever gig which was gig 11. It was I guess just 10-15 days before the gig we had all our band members together, and was discussing about what should we call ourselves? Then after a long discussion rishav came out with the name and we all agreed on that we didn’t  think we would come this far as to we just wanted to play the gig and go home, sleep haha… but then after the first show we were offered many other shows which led us to where we are now. We were formed by the love and support of the people and fans who have been liking us from the very first days we got on stage. Hence this was how DI formed.

-          What’s the meaning behind Divine Influence ?

Under the influence of divinity , the divine power which lasts forever and we are the influence of that divine power.

- What kind of Music does DI provides ?

 Groove with some mixed elements of technical and core stuffs. I believe its all in all about metal music

- You guys Just Lunched your Debut Album "Scarecrow" , How was the Feedback ?

We have got lots of overwhelming feedback regarding  the album, we have been getting support from people living in the foreign land aswell even the foreigners they loved what we created, we had our CD’s sold in various countries  and we  had recently released our first official music video you guys can check it out on our youtube if you still haven’t.

-          DI Just played on Silence Festival V , How was your Experience ?

Playing Silence is the dream stage for each and every band in this country. And we got that opportunity to play with the mighty SIKTH and Algorithm, it was wild, it was insane . we  learned various things all in all I must say I had my band and I had a dream screaming my heart out in the stage of SILENCE  FESTIVAL  and also we were able to make it true .

-    Any Future plans ?

Future plans, ehhh? We have surprises coming up for the next year!! Maybe a new single, a full length album, music video? Haha stay tuned anything might be in store for the people we love and who loves us.

-          Is There any thing to share to your fans ?

Support the local scene, listen to your local band support them even if you are not into what they play atleast show some respect!! START APPRECIATING AND STOP COMPARING.
