Interview -FRAGMENTS (Winner of 11th ICMC band Competition )

11th ICMC band competition was just held on Dec 20 at Jawalakhel Ground with a Guest appearance of Binaash , Vomitting Snake , X-Mantra and Mukti and Revival . As it was a final day of competition Judges also announced a Winner of competition too . This year Winner was FRAGMENTS representing NCIT . Leading every Finalist band FRAGMENTS was titled as winner of 11TH ICMC Band Competition . So regarding there title we LSNB shortly talked about there journey . 

Before starting our short conversation we LSNB would like to congratulate you guys for grabing the title of KCM ICMC, How was the feeling when you guys were called on stage as winner of 11th KCM ICMC Band Competition ?

When we were called as a winner we were jumping like crazy . Our friends joined us and congratulated us. it was a really happy moment for us. the competition was really tough. all the bands performed well though we were really nervous about the result.

How was the experience of ICMC journey ? 

It was a really nice experience. we had worked really hard. it was hard to manage time for practice due to our college and loadshedding. We did our best in preliminary round, crowd seemed to be enjoyed with our music. we did the same in the final. we made some new friends who were fellow performers in the competition.   


How Was Fragments formed ?

Me , Regan , Susan and Monil we were in a different band before . Later we met Suzeet and Ritesh and we started jamming .It was during the middle of 2013 when we started making our own music . Since the formation , we have composed three originals :Divergence , Artificial Intelligence and Lucid . Our first performance was for battle of bands (Silence Festival V Selection)




Fragments , whats the meaning behind it and how it is related to you ?

We were not sure about the band name before. our first original song was divergence which is related to division between people created by religion.fragments means scattered or broken off.  It fits our genre ,thus the name fragments.



What kind of band is fragments ?

Fragments is a extreme progressive metal band. We possess a technical, polyrhythmic style in our music alongside some melodic elements. Apart from this, our uniqueness is displayed by the combination of two vocals to give our music in a different taste .


Whats your Futher plans ? 
Our first goal will be recording our first EP . we already have 3 original songs and we will be composing more songs in future. apart from that we are looking for some good platform where we can perform again.
